Taking inspiration from my Mum's canvas tote shopping bag (picture as the image background below) I decided to attempt to replicate the block coloured bright leopard print look on my nails.
I always appreciate other bloggers fancy nail art posts but I have always felt dubious at attempting it myself.
I'm right handed and always end up with more polish on my skin (clothes, dressing table, hair, face) than own my nails when attempting to paint using my useless unsteady left hand.
...but this design is SUPER EASY to do - even for a self confessed amateur like me!
Using a trio of Barry M polishes I started with two layers of shade 294 "Cyan Blue" as my base coat.

After waiting 7 minutes for it to dry ...yup, nail polish takes approximately seven whole minutes dry completely (...see, don't say I don't teach you anything!)
I then used Barry M's 305 "Pink Flamingo" to blob random dots onto the blue polish. Thankfully nature intend that leopards spots are random markings and not actually perfectly round so my imperfect blobs do the trick just fine!

After my dots dried, I reached for my MUA Extreme felt eyeliner (£2.00 Superdrug - Bargain!) although I'm sure any other liquid liner will suffice.

I drew rough lines around the edge of the pink dots, also marking random black dashes on the blue polish where their was obvious gaps. This was surprisingly easy to do, even when using my left hand.

To finish I simply add a generous lashing or two of Barry M top coat - 54 "Clear" - this helps the liquid liner to stay waterproof, giving you salon quality fancy nails which last up to a week, saving you a trip to the nail bar & £40!
Voila! x
